Most word processing programs now have a wide selection of possible fonts (character styles / typefaces). Open your favorite word processing program. Type in your address numbers, highlight them, change the font and size (the bigger they are on screen the better). While still highlighted, copy them (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) onto the line below. Highlight (or 'select') this latest 'copy', and change the font again. Copy, paste to next line and repeat until you have a variety of versions of your address to choose from. Bold can often give better results for certain fonts.

Print out your favorites as large as you can (96pt = 1" ... 572pt = 6") one number per page. Tape these sheets together and fasten to the intended exterior mounting surface (entry, garage, fence etc). Walk to the front street to assess their legibility and aesthetics.
